The BRIT Awards 2008 gave the GRAMMYS a run for its money with a smattering of incredible live performances. Some of the standouts included rising star Leona Lewis, Rihanna with The Klaxons (a weird pairing that bred surprising results), Amy Winehouse with Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue, and Paul McCartney, who received the Outstanding Contribution to Music award. The big winners of the night were the Arctic Monkeys (Best British Album), Take That (British Single), the Foo Fighters (International Album), Kanye West (International Male Solo Artist), and Kylie Minogue (International Female Solo Artist).
