DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - SEPTEMBER 25: Sotheby's Dubai unveils the ultimate masterpiece by Pablo Picasso, a monumental 193 portrait of Marie-Therese Walter, on September 25, 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Estimated in excess of $120 million, it is the highest value painting ever to be brought to the Middle East by an auction house. "Femma a la Montre", one of only three Picasso portraits where the sitter wears a watch, is on view to the public at Sotehby's Dubai in the DIFC on 25th & 26th September (its first exhibition outside of America in over 50 years). It will then be exhibited in Hong Kong and London before returning to New York for the auction of the Emily Fisher Landau collection in November.
