In "X3: The Last Stand," Professor Charles Xavier's (Patrick Stewart) team of mutant heroes known as the X-Men return to defend humanity against the forces of the Dark Phoenix and the Brotherhood, and prevent the annihilation of both the human and mutant races. Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) is possessed by the Dark Phoenix, and her awesome cosmic powers threaten the entire globe. When a leading pharmeceutical company develops a "cure" for mutation, however, the Brotherhood, led by Professor Xavier’s former ally Magneto (Ian McKellan), considers it the first offensive in an all-out war between mutants and humans. In order to protect the planet, the X-Men must contend not only with the Brotherhood, but the volatile force of the Dark Phoenix as well. Featuring an expanded all-star cast, "X3: The Last Stand" sees the return of X-Men Cyclops (James Marsden) Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry) Rogue (Anna Paquin) and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), and the long-awaited appearance of Kelsey Grammer as the Beast. Meanwhile Juggernaut (Vinnie Jones) joins Mystique (Rebecca Romijn) and Pyro (Aaron Stanford) as part of Magneto’s Brotherhood alliance.
